I have seen very rarest example of person with dedication, passion, efforts with 100% managerial and planning skills, that is what Rana sir possess. I joined the group of like-minded MCA aspirants after usual common entrance exams on state/national level. Although each faculty with in Amity holds a remarkable cadre as they define Amity as a whole, but Rana come with something..many things extra... When we got an opportunity to study under our Ala mater, we got to meet Rana sir in Software Engineering lecture... His style of teaching and the way he explained the concepts with real life analogies made me comfortable with so called theoretically academical practical subject. He truly made this subject more pragmatic by giving examples of e.g. Subros AC, Pepsi branding etc. This was just a beginning till we turn up to end of second semester. This was the time when Rana sir with his assertive voice (earlier it seemed to be very controlling, but we realized why this is important to be like that for a person who is not just a professor but way way way ahead of that) came to us and instructed to ready for placements. He collaborated one team constituted by two sub teams - front end and back end and with his extremely time-bounded and planned strategies we happily got placements right from 3rd semester of MCA. What a commitment, dedication, passion to excel, A personality whom I inspired of, a real guru, another parents. Sir you have helped Lakhs of students in their career start up in biggest IT and non IT brands with 100% placement track records (I think there must be atleast one Amitian in all IT companies across the world).. Sir I still remember 17th April 2006 to be the date when I got selected for Perot Systems (Later Dell, now NTT Data), you put your hand on my head with blessings and said "Khus Raho, Sabhash bachche" and later you used to call all selected members randomly to guide our fellow youger brothers and sisters... While I am writing this I am just recollecting the events but not bale to find words to explain them... We all will always owe you diksha, which you have never ever asked for, but if I get a chance I would pray God for your longest and healthiest life. You have always given to your students, being so eminent and a big name you are still down to earth and associated with your cultural values and ethics.
